My BloodMoon

In the melted darkness, I see a blood diamond.

My anger fades with the moonlight,

This anger drains from my soul.

Its red splendour radiates,

Shadows caress and drape over this dazed moon,

A moon completely in sync with the earth’s disc.

Perfect alignment and accord.

With every tick of the clock,

My insides start to quiver,

Soon this eclipse will be over

And all I’ll have are faded memories.

I wait and I wait.

But then, the moon fades not yet to grey.

The clouds try to distort and drown the moon’s face but the moon continues to glow

The rain tries to quench the moon’s light but the moon lets out a crimson scream

You have eclipsed me like this moon,

Just like a fiery love you shine.

Just like the moon stabilises the earth’s axis

Just like the pendulum regulates a clock’s speed,

So has this girl completely eclipsed me.
